I started my career working as a photojournalist at The Miami Herald and Palm Beach Post newspapers. In Palm Beach, I covered fashion shows and shot editorials in New York, Paris and Milan. Eventually I started my own business in Miami Beach working for Nordstrom, Brooks Brothers, Disney, Target and many other advertising and editorial clients.
These days I'm located on the California coast and working in fine art processes such as photogravure and printmaking combined with alternative transfer process onto unique substrates. I've been slowly and happily creating a whole new body of work that's a departure from anything I've produced before.
I have a BA in Journalism from Georgia State University and have written articles here and there - usually to accompany my photographs - but recently I've deepened my commitment to writing and am working on a book.
What I know for sure is life is always moving us forward - the twists and turns, the new chapters, the missteps and mistakes, the graces - it's all a golden alchemy for deepening into our soul and thus our soul's work.
